The one thing I am glad about--the one thing--is that Paladino's bullshit appears to be getting noticed and talked about. He doesn't get a free pass for this. Even if not everybody is horrified, enough people are. I don't want to think about what a victory for him in November would actually mean, so I'm hoping that he's enough of a public fuckwit to make that impossible.

That's true. Local news last night featured a commentator whose fourteen-year-old told him, looking at on Paladino's track record racism/sexism/homophobia/bestiality: "What's he gonna do tomorrow, punch babies in the face?"
