It does have an ~essence~ of spinach (or beet; and it's less noticeable in the beet version or if you use fresh spinach, not canned), which I like because it's not like BAM, who put vegetables in my dessert, but I don't know how notoriously picky kid-types will like it. So try it first, maybe up the berries and dairy/soy?

I ran out of blueberries this morning. Banana also compliments beets, now you know.
