I expected anti-choice bullshit to a degree when the House became Republican majority, but oh my God, the slew of legislation that's come through the government in the last, what, two weeks? Proposals to make the murder of abortion-performing doctors justifiable homicide, attempting to redefine rape. They know these things are unconstitutional and won't make it to law, but as long as the message gets out there and they scare people away from reporting crimes or trying to get services, they've accomplished something for themselves.

It's terribly upsetting. Hope you're doing OK, with this and in general. ♥
