Gwynn was sitting on her bed, trying to work on a letter to her family in Briton about the happenings of the past few weeks.
Father, Uncle Will, Uncle Tuck, Froderick, and oh all right, yes, you, too Phillip--
A couple of weeks ago, some sort of magic happened here that turned me
into a six year old girl. My six year old self decided that she should contact
Conner -- oh Froderick, do shut up.
There was also an invasion of bears, but that got taken care of. They are quite fond of tea as I told
Conner .
Something interesting and heartbreaking happened this past weekend when we had an invasion of children wildlife. I ended up with two little girls pets for the weekend.
Pagan and
Javelin came from two different fathers places, it seemed.
Pagan arrived first and caught me completely by surprise by telling me who her Daddy was... and then a short time later,
Javelin arrived to claim me, as well. There was danger of a duel territorial dispute, but we got that cleared up. We then went to look for Pagan's Daddy, my friend, Chris, only to find he had been
invaded as well, as was my best friend,
Eve. It was a very busy weekend of making sure that none of the children wildlife killed each other. However, on Monday night, the invasion was ended and we had to say
goodbye. ...
Gwynn groaned. Wildlife invasion? That was the best way she could disguise the whole idea of two beautiful daughters showing up here? Wildlife invasion? "Father and Will and Phillip would show up here to hurt someone if I told then that I had two children by two different men show up this weekend..."
She flopped back down on her bed to stare at the ceiling. That would be when she heard a beeping sound from beneath the bed. Puzzled, she rolled over to look beneath it and saw the cell phone Conner had set up for her. Crawling down to get it from under there, she opened it and was confused when it said that it had a low battery. She hadn't used it for awhile and...
"Oh no."
Gwynn hurriedly brought up the menu and started to facepalm.
The last two calls on her cellphone were to
Tori and
Conner.
That sound coming from room 410 was definitely not a warrior of King Phillip of Briton whimpering or headdesking as she realized that Javelin had managed to use her phone over the weekend.
