So about this little thing we're calling love...

You know what I think? I think it’s a waste of time. People always end up getting hurt, whether it’s because that person doesn’t return the feeling, or perhaps because they “love” someone else. Maybe they stop feeling that feeling altogether, there’s just nothing there, and they “lose interest”. ( Read more... )

I don't think any of us know anything in this life. We're all stupid in our own way. But, i dont believe in love. Because as Vern said to me once, 'everything has to end'. Which is more true than anything i've ever heard. We're really young still, and wether you believe it or not, one day we'll believe we're inlove, and forget we ever thought this. It's commong to feel this way at this time, but i don't think love exhist to any of us at this age yet.

Love isn't easy, kids. It actually takes work. *gasp* I know, shocking, huh? Our parents' generation was lazy about love and relationships, which is why almost all of our parents are divorced or should be divorced, and I think we're probably gonna be even more lazy...considering how lazy we are in everything else, including education and work and the relationships with our friends and families. All very fundamentally important things.

We are just the fucking laziest people in history. Feel proud.

I think that what some people feel can be love, but love can end. The idea of love does seem kind of disappointing to me because it always seems to end in pain. I want big love. I want the over-the-top-can't-sleep-can't-breathe-can't-function-without-you kind of love, but it all seems a little unlikely.

I think that everyone has their own opinion on love..But its all about what they are feeling at the time. But since you are feeling this emotion right now...Or rather whenever you posted that, its going to build up for when you do fall in love. I guess what I am trying to say is that you are feeling this abandonment by love right now, but sooner or later you are going to take everything the commenters have said, and everything you have posted, and think about that when you really fall in love.
