i woke up under a tarp in a storm in new hampshire, walked and drove many miles to then fall asleep in my new haven bed, got on a plane for some even faster travel the next morning, and have now spent the third night in my san diego bed

I really imagine that you're not going to be in SD that long, but Tristan and I are going to be there from really late monday night August 29 to late saturday afternoon September 3. On the off chance that you are still going to be around we should get together.

Also, your backpacking trip sounded (and looked) really fun. I'm so jealous. If only my boy was the backpacking sort. But he has agreed to go car camping with me someday...so that's better than nothing.

so, i got all sorts of unfortunate scheduling news this morning. one involves when i leave san diego. i was leaving early tuesday morning, so though it would have to be brief, i could feasibly see you monday night. but turns out registration is something i'm absolutley not allowed to miss (oops), so we're trying to change the ticket to early monday morning. sucks

you graduated!!! i mean, i suspected and all, but very cool to see the evidence. congratulations.

yep, seattle is the plan right now, and as we've avoided forming an alternate one, it's really likely to be where we end up. are you applying this fall to schools? and thought it's pretty much all over the place...do you at least have a few favorites picked out?

what kind of work are you looking for (or have you started looking..)?
and hey, are you still knitting?
