[Hey Barge, you're currently being treated to a close-up of a hand. Not a very helpful shot, is it.
No problem, it clears up a few minutes later, to be replaced with 15-year-old Richie, staring at the screen like it's the most fascinating thing he's ever seen. He's even got that same vacantly engrossed expression just about every girl he's come

[With that kind of defensive undertone; SOMEONE evidently doesn't really want to be lumped in with them.]
And I'm not worried; it's just some kind of practical joke, it's...not serious.
Don't you know what silly putty is? It's...silly putty. This crappy plastic goo that you can stick on newspapers and shit and copy whatever you stick it to. And it pops when you squeeze it.

[Suddenly all the bluster and self-assurance is gone; it's a Girl. He smiles hesitantly, all self-conscious, and it's probably fairly easily recognizable as his older self's "I'm not up to anything" smile, only more legitimately sincere.]
You know my brother?
[She sounds like she knows what's going on, but he's never seen her before that he can remember; he's not quite sure what to do here.]

Yeah.
...You in his classes or something? 'Cause I haven't seen you around... [There's supposed to be more after that, it was supposed to end in "the Home", but he trails off into nothing instead, deciding it's probably not the best way to end it. He's starting to get edgy and nervous by himself, dependence on his brother already firmly ingrained by now, and he starts to fidget, smoothing his palm over bangs that really don't need to be fixed.]
