Yes. A number of people have gotten their cats and dogs via the streets. Either the animal was found somewhere or it followed them home.

Not a bad idea, then. Suppose there are plenty out there who wouldn't mind a roof and a regular meal.

Well, there's a number of strays running around the city. You could give one of those little fellas a home. I think I recall someone saying there was a petshop somewhere in the Square though, but it's been a while.

Could pick up a stray, yeah. They come with any kinda warning? Like... oh yeah, by the way, all our stray animals are poisonous?

Heh, sorry. Just reminds me of when I first came to the city.

A pet, or a roommate. Just being around something with a brain seems to work. I guess some roommates don't fit that bill, though.

Haha! Well, unless they've been experimented on, I think all the strays here are safe...ish. Never know, might get a biter.

Kinda prefer my privacy, so I'm not so sure I'm in the market for a roommate just yet. Rather get to know the person first.

Pet might do, though. Probably will be a biter, but so long's it's not poisonous, I expect I can handle it.

I'm sure there's an animal shelter somewhere in this city, otherwise as the others have suggested; strays.

I could not be an accurate judge of a person's character.

I merely find cats more suited, myself, because... in this City where one is liable to possibly be incapacitated by curses or likewise actions, it is better to have a more independent animal.

Huh. Good point, that. Wouldn't be much fun to keep having to replace your hamster or something because the curses have you forgetting to feed it every other day.
