I cannot even begin to describe to you people how utterly disturbing it is to wake up in the morning and see a commercial for a video game based on your life. People are profiting from my life - really I should be saying "my death", but that just takes this to a whole new morbid level that I don't even want to get into ( Read more... )

Can I have some shut the fuck up with that stupid bitch?

...Okay that maybe was a bit mean even by my standards. But I wasn't whining. It's a valid thing for me to complain about, thank you.

There, there...go get drunk, like everyone does when they are frustrated.

Keep being like this and you will get an ulcer.

I do, but you already knew that.

Yeah, but your whole world just teeters on top of the fourth wall. You've grown up with that knowledge. It's a whole new thing for me.

It'll take a while, but you'll get used to it, I'm sure.

Well, at least someone has confidence in me. Thanks. Though I'm not sure if you're being serious or not.

...Actually question. What ever happened to Giriko? I haven't seen him around recently and... Certain things have led me to being a bit worried because of that. I figure you might know.

As in, you know that your world has fiction based on it on other worlds? Or in that the world itself knows it's a fiction and runs on fictional rules?

As in, I moved from my own world to another one and where I am now, it's a well-known fact that I'm fictional, while back home, I was one of the few people to know that I was fictional all thanks to this place. So the first one, I'd suppose is the closest.

Eh, I'm in a reversed situation. I know my world's got fictions based on it, but I can't find any information on it! Wikipedia won't load anything past where I am now, and no one I talk to tells me any spoilers.

See, knowing spoilers is a double-edged sword. You might get to do something like save your own life, but it's so stressful.

It's just not right! Pah, Disney hasn't paid me a cent yet!

Capcom hasn't exactly given me a paycheck either, so at least you're not alone. Though I'll admit, being a Disney character sounds pretty rough. You're probably not going to end up getting a cent from them.

What?! Why not?!

Well, Disney's sort of known for being a bit stingy with their, uh... Creative property, let's say.

If that story has anything to do with libelous derivative works produced by natives of the world(s) where we're fictional then you're about three and a half years too late.

It's related to that.

But it has more to do with the fact that the games your life is based on is made by the same guys as my games. Congrats, I guess we're cousins.

My life isn't based on anything, and aside from my sister I don't have any other family, biological or otherwise. What are you going on about?

[Aaaand here's Birkin holding up a box entitled Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. And there's your beautiful face on the box, Edgie! How nice. Birkin points to the lower corner, where the word CAPCOM is written in its obnoxious yellow and blue theme. In his other hand, he holds up a box with a zombie on it, Resident Evil 2 taking up the majority of the art. Once again, in the corner, he points a finger to the CAPCOM down in the corner.]

Ta-da! We may not be from the same universe, but we, my friend, were made by the same people. If you would like to join me in storming their home office, then by all means.
