Interesting ideas

Theodore Nott seems to have a couple of interesting ideas regarding Justin's predicament (though I do hope he doesn't get himself killed you he thinks Justin will). I never thought of a past-life disillusionment spell... I've never really read a great deal about them. But they sound rather interesting and I will have to do some research into it ( Read more... )

A splash of colour can do wonders for a living space. I've noticed that just by putting a little something down in the potions dungeons can really brighten things up quite a bit.
I think you're a bit confused about the social order of conversation. You see, most people would rather talk to a cat than Miss Weasley. (But then, most people would rather talk to a cat than listen to you prattle on about know-it-all things that are of absolutely no worth, as well.)
I might have some information on Ron Weasley's whereabouts... for a price.

How extremely... feminine... of you, Professor. I never would've expected that.

I'll have you know that there are many people out there who find my conversational skills far from lacking.

And I will not accept bribery! Really, you're a teacher, for Merlin's sake!

It is not feminine to want color in a room, Miss Granger. If you are setting out to accuse me of being feminine then I will be forced to start assigning you detentions as well.
If these people are characters in books then I don't think they count. The Count of Monte Cristo and such unfortunately do not have much say in who decides to strike up a conversation with them.
I'm not bribing. It was merely a suggestion.

That's terribly unfair! I didn't say you were feminine, only that it's generally thought of as a feminine trait!

And these people are actually real. Professor Lupin enjoys my conversational skills, thank you kindly.

If you know where Ron is, I'd rather like it if you told me. Name your price and I will consider it.

You will NOT touch my cat, Lucius!!

I know you, you'd probably rape him with your pimp cane or something as sinister.

Oh, no - it's a simple spell. I realized that while I knew the ingredients to make Veritaserum, I did not know how to change the colour of a living creature. I would prefer not to experiment on my son, since he is on the verge of going into shock already, and your cat seems to be a good candidate...

There will be no catnapping! My cat stays HERE!
