Relationships:
Yomiko Readman: Jaime's boss (even if she isn't, he will forever consider her one). While he still feels the need to be polite to her, considering boss/employee relations, he gets along with her well and likes hanging out with her. And besides! Who else can geek out about books with him?
Trunks Briefs: They've talked briefly, but Jaime trusts him and considers him a good friend enough to share his secret.
Takeru Takaishi (and Patamon): Okay, so: Jaime has unofficially adopted Takeru as his little brother. The whole island does look after Takeru, but Jaime's made it his mission to look out for Takeru and Patamon and basically make sure that the two don't land themselves in any more trouble. Their cuteness factor certainly helped, but Takeru reminds Jaime of the little brother he always wanted, and thus? In Jaime's book, Takeru ranks pretty high.
Emil Castagnier: Of all the people on Memento Eden, Jaime is probably closest to Emil. The two didn't get along great, as Jaime's scarab and Ratatosk don't like each other [they've been abusive and like using Emil and Jaime to fight each other], but ever since they were married for a week, Jaime's been pretty confused about everything that's been going on.
Sure, Jaime feels sorry for Emil, but the two've had great conversations and well? Jaime's not sure where he stands with Emil: they're great friends, and Jaime does like Ratatosk mode when he's not being all "lol better than you," but the week of marriage definitely threw him off.
Tsubasa Andou: It is all his fault that pretty ladies will soon be stalking poor Emil. 8| ... In all seriousness, Tsubasa is probably one of the closest friends Jaime has on this island. The two see each other all the time (Tsubasa only hangs out at the library because Jaime works there, and Jaime loves visiting Cafe Demois because of Tsubasa) and are thus incredibly tight. He's no Paco, but Tsubasa is pretty much the surrogate "bff" in Jaime's odd amnesiac family.
(Oh, and a superpower showdown is in their future. Someday. Eventually. I think.)
