Before Marian died, there was not a day that went by that Robin didn't worry about her well-being. He was his reason for life, his reason to fight the fight. Marian's eyes wandered around the forest that had once been a second home to her, gazing at the trees that were finally beginning to regain their leaves. The grass changing from a dull brown back to green. It was more beautiful out here than some people ever realized.

She froze in place when she heard what sounded like someone moving through the brush. Gisborne and his men would surely be on horseback, so that must mean..."Robin?"

He had heard her the same time she had heard him, lost in his thoughts. He was in the process of mentally berating himself when he heard a familiar voice that sent his heart racing.

"Marian?"
