Your thoughts on End of Time!

OKAY, SO.

1. The entire convoluted plotline was stupid, demeaned the Doctor's sacrificing the Time Lords by making the Time Lords all evil like that, and gave no satisfactory conclusion for Donna's storyline at all. That is my negative thoughts.
2. My positive thoughts! That the Doctor said goodbye to all of his companions, helping them all in small ways, was kind of wonderful. In particular Rose's section, because that gave the Doctor and Rose's thing a real sense of circular closure and I am big on that. The Master and the Doctor's relationship, how very uhm. Intimate it is. Always surprises and pleases me. Particularly the way the Master shoots the Doctor with his electric ray of confusing, and then as soon as he goes down, runs to catch him. I think that is quite a good metaphor for their relationship and I liked it. I liked John Simm in it in general, and David Tennant was wonderful.

3. My CHARACTER THOUGHTSSS. It is very interesting! From what I remember, Ten is the only Doctor to have expressed genuine remorse in what is a ( ... )

It goes somewhat like this. Somehow, they find God, Dean reads him the riot act and leaves him. They come up with an alternate plan to beat Lucifer, things look grim and somehow they manage to beat Lucifer (God may have stepped in after being told off by Dean), LESS DYING, Cas goes back to Heaven, Dean and Sam get into the Impala and ride off into the sunset.

I WANT THIS. Tell me why you like Glee!

Because it starts off as a show that is all about stereotypes and ends up subverting nearly every single one. The bitchy cheerleader becomes fragile, the pushy, confident outcast has self-esteem issues, the jock has a big heart, etc etc etc. That and the soundtrack is immense. And it all has such a bright, colourful style to it. I defy anyone to watch it and not feel slightly cheered up afterwards, basically :3

Three TOS cameos you'd love to see in the next Star Trek movie and whyyyyy.

what would happen if Cori ever ate Gil's eyes?

notamartian January 12 2010, 14:06:02 UTC
... they would find out if Vincent's chain indeed could rip the Corinthian's head off. There is a distinct difference in Vincent's head between someone hurting him, especially in a power struggle, and someone hurting Gil. The latter is inexcusable, and would be answered with crazy and violence.

What do you think would be the first thing Gil would do if he remembered their past and his head didn't explode?

ASSUMING HIS HEAD DIDN'T EXPLODE...he'd dote on Vincent a whole lot more, I think, and would be a lot more tolerant of Vince being a dick and would be very torn between Oz and Vincent and...

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM NOW bawww ;~;
well. emphasis on MORE.

What does Vince most fear Gil finding out?

He doesn't want Gil to know that his part in what happened in Sabrie was all for Gil. He doesn't want brother to have that weight on his conscience :(!

What would happen when X!Kamui and Tsubasa!Kamui meet.

Ganymede's thoughts on Apollo's current moodiness?

Reply

notamartian January 12 2010, 14:51:31 UTC
It's sort of a mixture of "oh good, now he knows how I feel" and ... it's this weird sense of underlying trepidation/concern that Apollo's going to get more and more unhappy and more and more violent and do something that he really doesn't like. Ganymede feels responsible for Apollo, in a way, while they're in Camp, because Apollo can be so dangerous when he's in the right mood, but he's also just like a child a lot of a time. So Apollo is sort of like a burden, in a way, when he's like this. When he's happier, he bothers Ganymede more, but Ganymede knows he's not off setting a lion on people or doing something batshit. Ganymede hates Apollo, but he's hated Apollo for such a long time that it's turned into this ... sigh, what is it doing now ... sort of feeling while they're in Camp. Because he has other people to talk to about it, instead of just himself.

Uhh. Does it upset Apollo that Ganymede now has people to talk to other than him?

Gimme a Doctor --> Anole relationship thingy

The Doctor likes Anole a lot! He comes across as relaxed, good sense of humour, etc, etc, which the Doctor finds surprising in of itself for someone that has been through as much as Anole has. He's curious about the world Anole lives in and the way his body changed, and he worries about Anole's life a bit when they talk, in sort of that distracted way the Doctor has where he'd like to change a lot of things about people's lives but he knows he can't do it/it wouldn't be right to do it/etc. But yes, there is a general I like this person feeling.

Anole on the Doctor, then! :D

Anole also likes The Doctor! Admitedly, time travel confuses the shit out of him (hey, not even a Time Lord could figure out the Summers' family tree), but he is vaguely interested in the planetary adventures, in a sort of "a whole universe full of things to kill me, awesome" kind of way. He does enjoy his talks with the Doctor because he doesn't take things seriously, so it kind of reminds Anole not to as much, also.

Is it bad an wrong that I kind of want to traumatize the Doctor with sections of Anole's canon every time there's one of those "look in the mirror and see your past" type posts?

It's bad and wrong but let's do it anyway.

Oh, oh. Tell me more about your blonde girl character ... that I cannot remember the name of right now ... but do it anyway! I am curious about her.

The gif keeps distracting me.

It's sort of . . . disconcerting. Spock doesn't like how illogical camp is in general, and while he finds some of the people here interesting enough, he doesn't like being in camp at all. Spock spends most of his time researching and trying to find a way out, because while he's aware he might not find anything new that could potentially get them out of camp, it's something to do here. He appreciates having Kirk here, however. IN GENERAL, there are so many illogical things about camp he doesn't like and the fact he is affected sometimes because of them it's something he dislikes even more. Like the AJ plot thing, for example!

tl;dr Spock doesn't like camp.

I'm curious. Veronica's thoughts on Spock? Even if I fail to thread recently. ;;

Veronica likes Spock! Not in the same way she likes Kirk. She and Kirk are quite similar, they get on well, interests, etc etc. But from what she's heard of Spock from their own meetings and what she's heard from Kirk she figures that under all the logic Spock's got a really good heart, and that makes her pleased in general ♥! And I should pick that thread up.

Did you watch TOS as well like Oz has? I forgot to ask you.
