Well, that works, since I was planning to ask to join DATS--or rejoin, as Labramon tells me. Roy sounded like he was willing to come with me, so I guess we won't have to worry about permission for civilians.

Speaking of, though--well, to put it simply, I'm an Investigations man. That means I'd go in your department. I know he hasn't been seen recently, but I was going to ask the bigwigs if I could take over the Gluttony case to work on in-between the open ones. Would you object to that?

Hunh. Gotta be honest and admit I've never gotten the point of arguing over jurisdiction too much. Then again, the military did have unparalleled jurisdiction back home, and Roy always did say I 'have no sense of personal ambition, so why should I care about getting the glory'. Just gotta remember to let go of the cases you don't need to keep, when you can't afford to keep 'em.

But since I'm the new kid around here, it's your choice. Anytime the bastard pops up again, Roy and I'll be there to help.

Not a problem, Lieutenant Colonel! Can't say I've had much of an opportunity to interact much with them yet, but from what I'd seen and heard they're great kids.
