Sex should never make you feel numb, it should make you feel alive. Do you literally mean "custody", as in "legal guardian"? Nah, it can't be. I know you're much more independent than all of that.

I would hope Bill wins but I'm actually just hoping you'll win. Realize you don't have to subject yourself to all this crud and reclaim custody of yourself. You're a cool girl. Just figure that out and start liking you as much as I do.
