Am I a bad guy? [Am I a bad soul?]

[Fury]

Easy like pie. He can’t believe it’s so easy. Ava tried to tell him but he was so wrapped up in being good that he couldn’t see it. The power surges through his body, trickling out the tips of his fingers and running loose through the crowd like a very bad puppy. The analogy makes him laugh, chuckle bubbling up pushed by power and over his lips. He doesn’t have to say the Latin anymore but it’s so damn much fun that he can’t let it go.

The floor is covered with blood and he realizes at some point the demons have all vacated the bodies and he’s just slaughtering humans. It makes him pause but only for a moment. He should stop. He knows he should stop but it’s like Dean eating a whole pie. He twists a woman’s neck with the flick of his wrist and her body falls to the ground. He’s going to be sick in the morning.

“Hey, Braintrust…” she glances over the bodies, taking note as she nudges a hand out of the way. “Nice job. Way to screw everything the fuck up.”

Sam turns sharply on his heel to see a blonde sauntering through the carnage. She doesn’t pause and that makes the corners of his mouth twist up in a grin. “I thought you’d all evacuated.” The Latin comes out in a rush, laced with power that’s stronger than words ever will be.

She doesn’t run and she doesn’t hide. She’s not scared and that’s what saves her. She’s got bony little fists and one catches him right in the throat, leaving him breathless and helpless for just a moment but she doesn’t take advantage of it. Instead she does what any smart demon would do; she gets the fuck out of there with a few parting words.

“Kill her and I will rip your balls off and wear them for earrings.”
She’s scared and he’s pretty sure he’s never come across something so sweet. He bites the inside of his cheek until his mouth is flooded with the taste of his blood as he steps forward and runs his fingertips, sticky with drying blood across her jaw. He leans in and kisses the spot just in front of her ear.

“You’re a very lucky girl,” he whispers in her ear before he turns and walks away. One girl, standing in a night club full of bodies. It’s an exception to the rule life so far has taught him; nobody gets out alive.
