Let me share with everyone what happened today.

For years, there has been this old man who drives a cab around Harahan and he is wreckless, can't drive straight, goes 20 in a 40. I finally called the cab company today and the jerk tells me "well I can't do anything. The state keeps giving him the license and hes 85 years old, hes old."

i never understood how any of this works with companies. they cant fire some people for being horrible at their jobs, but then sometimes they lay-off good, hard-working people. ugh. i dont get it.

dude thats awesome that you are taking that step. most people wouldn't even care. some old people, well most, just should not be allowed to drive.

newspaper ;) should be the next step. Provide a photo.... then the step after that is to get a video recorder and record this guy driving... and bring it to your local news station.

i know you were counting points at one point, and i was wondering how do you go about joining weight watchers? my mom and i wanna do it and i dont know who to call or anything

I joined online (www.weightwatchers.com) and theres all the information you need on there. Or if you want you can go to meetings ( I used to go a few years ago, they're pretty good) - they are on Oak St. in Harahan or at the WW place on Vets by Chuck E Cheese. If you go to the WW website, there should be somewhere you can look up the phone numbers. Good luck. : )
