I had an incredibly long entry yesterday, then the laptop died before I updated. Doh

My family's houses are OK for the most post. Minor wind damage, tree damage, etc. Marsha's car was stolen by either thugs or police. Kevin's mom's camp on LAke Catherine is gone, down to the pilings. Otherwise, we're doing OK.

I volunteer for Big Bros/Big Sis in NOLA. I was standing in Walmart waiting for gayle and carolyn to come back and meet me, when I decided to just TRY calling Devin's house, never believing it would actually go through.

Just wanted to update and say my family and I are all in Denham Springs. Last night fifteen of us, plus two babies slept at my aunt beth's 1500 sq foot house. It was crazy, but we managed in a time of need. We're eating like we're in a shelter or something, cooking mass amounts of food.
