I don't know what to think or how to feel about this. I completely understand him freaking out; it's not like I was very calm about the whole thing. But...but now he's going to be all wierded out whenever he's around me! He forgave me for abandoning them, but-- He's my best friend. How do I deal with the fact that he mistook

And while I do not know him well, I do not believe Shuu is the kind of person who will let things stay awkward for long. He was willing to simply forget we had tried to kill him, after all...
