Jul 03, 2010 14:41

[So, Cissie is having a Bad Day. Between Rayne's post and the unfiltered comments in Sylar's revealing that he's been keeping things from her and has a bit of bloodlust, and her talk with Tim about his deal and what Sylar's been up to, she is not a happy camper. The only side of Sylar she ever saw before was his nice side and he convinced her he ( Read more... )

[Which is perfect for this fella, cause he isn't a friendly self ever. His movements are practiced and focused. It's the Mok'bara.]

[Yeah, sorry Chang. Cissie's a bit single-minded right now and really not noticing anyone else in the room, much less what they're doing. She really won't stop to talk until she's interrupted.]

AND NOW IT'S NOT A PLACEHOLDER. painhumbles July 3 2010, 19:35:11 UTC
[Congratulations, Cissie. Murphy isn't the only woman to get unexpectedly dropped in on. At least he has the sense his dad gave a penguin to not be directly in the line of fire when he appears.]

Lemme guess. The punching bag forgot to call you?

IT IS A THING OF BEAUTY! notarrowette July 4 2010, 06:15:28 UTC
[Cissie jumps and whirls to face him... which means the punching bag gets some revenge by smacking into her back. Yeah, she's that distracted. She staggers a little and makes a face.]

Something like that. Or it insulted my ancestors.

[Gabriel mock glowers at the punching bag.]

How dare it? [He steps a bit closer.] Anything to do with Wonderboy losing his Warden of the Year award?

[Yeah, Gabriel pays attention. HE KNOWS THE LIVES OF EVERYONE ON THE BARGE... And doesn't give a shit, half the time.]

[Cissie immediately tenses. She spends about half a second stressing over why he called Tim that--and then remembers Gabriel is an angel and has probably known all along, and she's not going to think too hard on that because it's not her problem. Nope. She's just going to... cross her arms and glare like a mature person.]

I don't care what everyone else thinks of him. If he thinks it's the right thing--well, whatever. It's got nothing to do with me.

[LIES, LIES, LIES.]

[Sam, decked out in trainers and running gear, is all prepared to go for a nice jog in the gym, and oh yes, he even makes a few laps! Quite a productive start-- hey, wait. What's this? Sam knows the sound of unrestrained aggression when he hears it, and he's drawn to it like a typical copper. He approaches Cissie, eyeing her with an arched brow, and crosses his arms.]

You can lay off now. I think it's dead.

[He's totally concerned about her doing this while her arm's broken, but he decides not to dad out about it.]

[She's at least not using her broken arm to beat on the bag? ...She'll still probably regret this tomorrow. But she still doesn't notice Sam until he's rightthere and she might jump a little when he speaks. And maybe get bumped by the punching bag when it swings back from her last kick.] Oof.

[Cissie brushed her hair out of her face and blushed.] Um. Yeah, maybe. Hi, Sam.

[THAT'S A GOOD THING. But Sam is still concerned about the strain. He moves forward to try to grab hold of the bag and steady it, but stops as it bumps Cissie. TOO LATE, AS USUAL, SAM.]

Hey. D'you think you should be... y'know. [EXPECTANT LOOK AT THE ARM.] Because that? Looked like the sorta workout you're gonna feel the next day.

[Sam, you fail at not dadding out.]

[IT'S OKAY, SAM. Cissie needs people to dad out at her, even if she doesn't realize it! She grimaces, because he's totally right. And yet, she's going to shrug it off.]

I'm okay. I just--needed to beat something up.

[Murphy catches the bag as it swings toward her, stopping it and eying Cissie around it with a guarded expression that Harry would recognize as concern.]

Who peed in your frosted flakes this morning?

[Cissie gapes in surprise. Murphy, you surprised her. And actually make her smile a little, which is an accomplishment!]

...It might be easier to ask who didn't.

[That's right. She's very mature.]

Ouch. [She lets go of the bag and steps around it.] Might be easier on your arms if you verbally abused something instead of trying to break one of the bags.

[She shrugs, grimacing a little in embarrassment. She knows this isn't the most mature way to handle her feelings.] Maybe. But at least this way I won't say anything I'll regret later.

[This is Bruce attempting to sneak into the gym to meditate - like he do. Except that the gym is full of angry punching noises. D8

His first reaction is to freeze and panic a little bit before sliding right back out the way he came. But then he sees that it's Cissie. A very punchy-and-kicky Cissie who looks... Muchly with the not-happy. He debates going up to her for a few minutes before venturing into the breach.]

Um. ...Miss K- [At least he catches himself this time.] Cissie? You all right there? I mean. You obviously don't look all right there, which is why I was asking, even though. It's a really stupid question, given how you look, but. Still.

And if you want me to just. Stop talking now and leave you alone, I'd totally understand that and. Do as you asked. So. ...Yeah.

[Oh Bruce, you are so adorable. Cissie recognizes that stutter anywhere, and this time manages not to get smacked by the punching bag, although stopping it with one arm is a bit tricky. She blows her hair out of her eyes, making a face.]

No, it's okay. You don't have to leave. I'm just--blowing off some steam.

Yeah, I can. [Nods at the punching bag right there after half-starting to grab at it to protect her arm there.] Can see that very clearly, ahem. Not exactly sure it's the smartest thing to be doing what with. Well, your arm being the way it is, obviously, but. You're more than free to do whatever you want.

But. Er. I was just going to go over there [thumb over his shoulder], and not do much of anything, so. If you'd like to. Talk about whatever it was that made you steamy, I could easily do that instead. Again, whatever's best for you. That is.

[She ducks her head, shrugging uneasily. No, it probably isn't smart, and she's realizing that. She's starting to feel sore anyway, not that she'd admit it.] Maybe it's not my brightest move. I just--had too much energy, you know?

[She shrugs and glances in the direction he indicated, somewhat confused. Hey, a diversion!] ...You came to the gym to... not do much of anything?
