[Cissie is sitting at her desk, humming Happy Birthday quietly and looking thoughtful.]

Do birthdays count here? When we go home, I mean? I don't feel very different than I did yesterday, but I am different than when I got here.

[She looks like she's going to say more, then shrugs and turns off the video.]

Personally, I've sort of, um. Stopped counting my own birthday here. I reckon you could always just... go with how old you feel, but in this place, that could put you at going on eighty-five.

[A few minutes later there's a quiet knock on her door. Surprise! It's Martha Jones with a hostess cupcake with a candle in it and her normal tea arrangement. And of course a rather large grin.]

Don't be silly! It's the least I could do! If I could bake I'd make you a cake, but me anywhere near a kitchen to try and bake is likely to end in a disaster. [She's all grins and laughter, when she offers the cupcake.] And I've got tea if you're interested, and an offer for the pub if ya like.

Nineteen was a pretty good year. I liked it a lot better than eighteen, but then--everyone's different. But I hope you like it better than eighteen, too.
