[Letter to Santa | Private]
I haven't written to Santa since Mom felt the need to disillusion me when I was tiny. She never was much for that kind of thing. But I hear these things actually get filled, so here goes:
For Molly: Some of that wakefulness potion she keeps trying to make. Not like a ton, but enough for one or two days or to last through whatever emergency we run into next. I suppose asking you to give her word from home about Harry and Murphy is probably too much, but if you can manage it, can you please make sure she knows they're okay? Maybe give her cards or letters from her brothers and sisters, too. Definitely a letter from her dad. And some cookies her mom made. Stuff from home, you know? Oh, and some treats for Mouse, and a really nice dog bed. ...Even if he sleeps in Molly's bed anyway.
For Sylar: Um, give him an iPod, with his favorite music... and some especially amazing symphony pieces. And a really complicated puzzle. Of the Northern Lights. Hopefully he'll get what I'm trying to say with those, but just in case, give him a really nice watch, too. One he'll love.
For Tim: Can you repair that Red Robin suit for him? Or give him a spare? He might not use it here a lot, but it'd probably make him feel better to have it. And if you can manage to get word to him from Bruce--a letter, a picture, more proof, anything--that'd be great. Just to remind him that he's right and things are okay; if Bruce is lost in time or whatever, there must be a way to give Tim a message from him here. And give him a pair of those
awful green sunglasses he wore in Sydney. Because even though I'm upset with him and things have changed, he's still my friend. I don't know if he'll even get what I'm trying to
For Kirk: A model of the Enterprise. I know he's having some issues with things back there, but he loves it, so... Also, one of the Arrowette action figures
Mom had made back in the day. Just because. Maybe one of the cute ones. And some toys and treats for his dog.
For Five: If you can manage it, a little ornament or figurine of that tree he wanted to show me in port, when we found his puppy. Chocolate-covered coffee beans, the really good, dark chocolate kind. ...Give some to his inmate, Coyo, for that matter too. I think she'd probably appreciate them even more than him. For Waldo,
a red and white striped puppy sweater... And maybe a few more in bigger sizes so he can still wear them when he grows up. And give the Doctor a Where's Waldo
book, please. Because he needs to appreciate this.
For Una: Well, I don't suppose you can make O'Brien miraculously graduation-ready? Since you can't, please give her some of her favorite music, and headphones... if she doesn't have anything to play it on, give her an iPod too. She deserves some kind of escape. Oh, and a basket of spa-type stuff--bubble baths, bath salts, lotions, candles, that kind of thing. And tea or coffee and candies of her preference. Also maybe a picture or word from friends at home. She needs a boost, I think.
For Leia: Some reminder of her home--a picture, a letter, something. Maybe a favorite painting. And... a Wonder Woman figure, and a biography. One of the official ones. I just want her to see that... the hero-thing isn't totally insane to have wanted, at one point, even if I don't want it now.
For Steph: A
stuffed Superman, please? With a cape. The cape's important.
For Hayley: Some new movies, and some wash-out hair dye; we really need to do girls' night again sometime. And some of her favorite candy.
For Martha: Her favorite tea or coffee and candies from home, in a nice basket, and a stuffed... whatever her favorite animal is. And some cat toys her her kitten.
For Sveta: The same as Martha, minus the cat toys, please. Oh, give her a stuffed otter!
For the Infirmary Staff: Their favorite coffee or tea and an assortment of candies they like from home, in a basket, please. If they don't celebrate Christmas, please give it to them sooner. They've all been working too much. Include the new doctor, please.
For Prefect: The same as the infirmary staff, please.
For O'Brien: The same, but also a new deck of cards.
For everyone: Candy canes and hot chocolate, please.
As for me... I don't know. I don't think you can make Sylar any less volatile, or make Tim remember that he has friends, or make Molly less worried. Well, I guess if you can give her word from home, that would help, but still. I don't think you can help me to be less emotional about things either, and I probably wouldn't like it anyway if you did.
A cat tree thing for Tibs would be nice, and some new cat toys. And maybe some new shower gel stuff, pajamas, new bed stuff--blankets, sheets, that kind of thing. Some new string for my bow. ...It might be nice if my friends back home would remember I exist, but
Thanks.
[Written, as she picked up a cold in port]
So that port was kind of awesome. Did everyone have fun? I think I might have spent a little too much time in the snow, and left my voice back in Germany. Oh well.
Does anyone have any lemon or honey for tea? I think I
[OOC: Hiatus is go! Cissie's passed out mid-post. Feel free to find her and bring her to the infirmary or put her in bed, whatever! And someone (Molly?) please take care of the cat. Also, yeah, going to assume A) Five named the puppy and B) that she hasn't heard about Sylar murdering someone in port, since that would ruin her mood and make the Christmas list tricky. Also, I leave it up to you if your character gets that word from home, if she asked for it for them. See you all next week!]
