At first glance, Kyousuke seems strict and almost a bit scary. As Hime’s diligent assistant, he helps her take care of her work as the mayor of Sakura-shinmachi, by going on patrols with her, attending ward meetings, and doing most, if not all, of the paperwork. Despite being friends with Hime for years and because of their professional relationship, he also insists on addressing her very politely; always using a title and more intriguing Japanese grammar stuff that I will not bore you with (ore vs watashi, masu-forms, etc.) Occasionally he will let all this politeness go, even around her; though usually only when Hime needs someone to be her long trusted friend rather than her long suffering personal assistant.
Kyousuke is known to be kind of anal, keeping track of Hime’s calorie intake and refusing to feed her when she has already exceeded her allotted amount for the day. He is also the type of person that always comes prepared, carrying several handkerchiefs and onigiri on him just in case they are needed. If you need it, it’s probably in his pocket! (How deep is that pocket anyway?)
Underneath the tax accountant look however, beats the heart of a man who is really gentle, likes cute, little things (not a loli-con!) and adores his sister (or a siscon! >:C). Kyousuke is the type of person that is always there to protect those he cares about and help out with little tasks to make life in the city run more smoothly. At first, this protective behaviour extended only to his little sister, but after his fateful first encounter with Hime --and a more fateful encounter between her hand and his face-- he learned it is okay to both protect and be protected and make more friends in the process. He does not really mind getting hurt himself, as long as he can keep others safe.
As stated already, Kyousuke adores his little sister. He has been protecting her from an early age, after both of them were orphaned, and the practise has carried on even to this day. Though these days it involves a lot less running and hiding in forests, and a lot more finding excuses to pick her up from school and telling her how to deal with bears. JUST IN CASE. Even though he might seem a bit harsh at times, Touka is what he holds dearest, and he wants nothing more than to protect her, keep her safe and keep her happy. And thinking of dating this sweet sixteen year old schoolgirl? Don’t even think about it. Unless you want big brother to deal with you.
Easiest way to make his temper flare? Call him a siscon. Because he is not and certain people are just being a huge jackass about the entire thing.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Kyousuke is an oni which means that he incredibly strong compared to a regular human. To keep this strength under control, he wears a shackle to keep his power constrained. He has better control of his power than his little sister; however at the same time, this strength is still a source of conflict for him. Without his shackle, he is very concerned about accidentally harming innocent people. Because of this, he will only take it off in very dire situations.
Good student, diligent work and great with paperwork. Because M’lady certainly is not.
H-he is kinda weak to cute things. And his little sister. Who is the cutest little thing, so.

This was not Sakura-shinmachi, of this Kyousuke was very certain. This city’s architecture did not match that of their city. There were no Youkai as far as he could see, nor were there the Nana-Gou. Further more, he was reasonably certain that Sakura-shinmachi was not, in fact, in a dome under the sea.
With a soft sigh, Kyousuke removed his glasses, cleaning them with a slightly damp hankerchief from his pocket, before putting them on again. The scene before him had not changed however. The entire situation was rather vexing, and more than a little irritating. He did not have time for this, whatever this was.
The last thing he could remember was preparing some paperwork and now-- No, this just wouldn’t do. His Lady could not be expected to run the city on her own; if she did that, the paperwork would be a mess by the time he got back from wherever this place was. And who would she spar with? It was just a recipe for disaster.
And Touka! No, he definitely just couldn’t stay here. What would happen to her if he was here? There were dangerous things in the city; out of control youkai, Enjin, Akina, bears, Akina, perverts, and other no good things. Also, Akina. Kyousuke was all too aware of Touka’s crush on him (not exactly the most hidden thing in the world) and, no, Akina was definitely not the right person for his sweet, innocent little sister. No, no, no, this really just wouldn’t do at all.
Right, time to find the way out of here. Perhaps he could try the city hall of this city. No doubt that would be the best place to find the way out of this place.
