I haven't updated in a while, and this is as good of a time to as any, considering that I've finished all of my pressing homework and have no intention of starting my non pressing homework (ha, when do I ever do that early

I was just talking to my nifty neighbor Lauren today about her minor obsession with Regina Spektor. She played me a song or two--pretty damn nifty. How did you come across her

I came across Regina Spektor the way I come across most of the music I listen to: my friend from Alabama JT liked her and started talking about her, and I listened to some of her stuff. Next thing I knew, I bought her latest CD, Soviet Kitsch, and am in wierd music heaven. I highly recommend "Ghost of Corporate Future" "Chemo Limo" and "Your Honor", though "Ode to Divorce" has been growing on me

Dude, you never told me that Riverbend won some major award at CSPA! Whoa!!! That's so awesome!
Sylvia Plath is amazing. Have you read The Bell Jar yet? If not, READ IT (unless you didn't like Catcher in the Rye; then don't read it). I've always wanted to read sometying by Kafka but haven't had time (gah, silly Bach book!). The Humanites class is actually reading Metamorphis by Kafka right now (or maybe they already finished it; they read a book a day, it seems).
I MISS YOU!!!!! Screw school, we're hanging out sometime soon (but not next weekend; the homecoming dance is next Sat. But ooo, the game was yesterday, and Wesley was one of the homecoming devils, which is a school tradition I'll explain to you later when I don't have to type, but it was hilarious! And I have many many pictures (much to his horror; he has guessed that you are very much interested in his doings, and I'm not sure if he's frightened or amused. maybe both) to prove it. Whee!
I read the bloody Bell Jar on my own in seventh grade and did not much appreciate it. Most likely it was probably over my twelve-year-old head.
I've finished the Historian and am left... underwhelmed. And I have that carsick feeling that comes from reading more than half a thousand pages in two days for not much payoff. Gah.
Time to go download Regina Spektor! If she's particularly cool, I will actually buy her music, like a good law-abiding citizen of the music-buying world. Yup.
Should you and Cyrano have a vicious falling out and you come running to Bluntschli, you will most definitely be in line behind Raina and me.
And Becca--many apologies for my complete retardation, but I seem to have temporarily misplaced your email address. Please do not take this as any kind of biting criticism of your email address' worthiness of my attention or organization. I am sure it is a most noble specimen of real estate. Understand that I hold it in the highest regard.
Heh, its ok. My email address is Toeshoes87@aol.com. (very long story involving obtaining an email address is 7th grade when all I thought about was ballet...then quitting at the end of the year).
Like I said, anything you've written that you want published, you should submit. "The Elephant March" was great when I read it, and I'd love to read it again, and I highly recommend that you submit it. Anything else you have lying around is welcome as well.
