[click, there's Joshua's back. He sort of haphazardly dropped his communicator on the counter.]
I suppose this is normal? [He turns and right at the center of his collarbone is the glowing mark. He looks mildly curious before he huffs a sigh and shrugs.] Really, all these mysteries are tiring to investigate. I'm not really a laborer.

[ Oh, Naoya hasn't touched the coral again yet, so he was still himself. He wasn't that stupid, not after what had happened last time--he would hold off as long as possible. ]
Ah, it's a good thing so many people were willing to test it for me. Looks like it isn't truly radioactive--it just seemed to have drastically changed them.
[ Yeah, that was pretty useful. Those children were nothing if not amusing to him. ]

[And now he smiles. Ah, red eyes. Just what he was looking for.] I don't believe we've met.

[ Mm, he heard that statement about red eyes prior, but he wasn't the only one with them, so who's to say it was him? He'd have to confirm that first. ]
Ah, were are my manners? I don't suppose we have, have we? [ Something tells you he doesn't really care about manners in the least. ] ... Naoya. I assume someone you know is here by the sound of it--Neku, was it?
[ He has suspicions--he'd almost thought of the boy as a duplicate of someone he knew, after all. He just had to double-check. ]

Oh, you've met Neku? He's something of a- [a pause as he tugs idly at his bangs.] business partner. Back in Shibuya of course.
[Back to the smirk] He did mention something very interesting about ice pillars and the barrier. Magic, as you said.

[He doesn't have any side effects from it, though...he shakes his head and gives a sigh.]
I say, it looks like many of you are the types of people to use others to do your dirty work. Not that I disapprove, but to have so many users and not enough people to use...[He smirks.] It'll get nowhere, really, if you want to find those mysteries out.

[and he smirks just a little more at that remark about dirty work.] Who says I want the mysteries to be solved? We assume answers will inevitably lead us to an escape. It's possible I want to stay, they are rather accommodating, don't you think?

[He just shakes his head and grins at that.] Oh, well then, be my guest. But I suppose that staying here for you is better because you don't want to go back where you came from. In a less euphemistic way of referring to it, you're being sort of a coward, don't you think?

It's Rutherford. [/corrects]
It would be less a case of being unaffected, as being unable to be affected. [Guess whose mark isn't glowing! =D Guess who is probably going to be regretting this physically very soon...!]
