Funnily enough, the whole thing came about in the first place because of pictures of Kris having Cloud hair (or as close as you can get and not be digital). The amnesia thing is...well, it's not just Kai, but as Lu Han won't tell him anything... I do like Lu Han with a bit of mystery, after all. ^_^

Oh but let me confess, it's been so long since I last played FFVII or watched the movie and stuff like thatso u can't remember Odin! But it's okay, I can still imagine Lu Han and his gorgeousness... And yeah, he is mysterious, and I want to know what he's hiding from Jongin too!

Will we be seeing the actual fic soon? :)))

Lu Han gets to be Odin for a couple of reasons - Odin doesn't have an element, just purely physical attacks, which works with Lu Han's telekinesis and means I can use him for Kai's teleportation (it's still movement, after all). Also, I kind of like the idea of this cute, fluffy little blond thing having an instant kill move. ^_^ Odin in FFVIII, you can't acquire like a normal GF, but if you get him he sometimes randomly shows up at the start of battles and kills everything on the screen.

I'm about 9k through the actual fic, so far, but I'm afraid it's got quite a way to go yet! That's why I didn't wait until afterwards to write this one. (The other one has Kris as a protagonist, so trying to fit in how Kai and Lu Han met wouldn't really have worked.)

omf- i wish a knew enough about final fantasy to actually understand some of this, but i still loved this. the characterization is so great ;;;;; i love when lu han is written like this - mysterious and graceful and seductive and strong and manipulative. please write more~! \o/

Aww, thank you! Yep, Kai's wearing the same outfit, only I guess his would be slightly different in dimension... Okay, so the Honey Bee Inn probably doesn't have male Bees in the game, but that's why they call it fiction. ;-) I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Why are there not more comments for this wonderful fic? I know nothing at all about final fantasy but I really enjoyed reading this! I'm not at all familiar with the final fantasy terms, but you wrote them in such a way that I was able to imagine what they were in my head and they didn't distract me from this unfamiliar au. I love your descriptions of Luhan and how mysterious he is. When I reached the end, I was screaming in my head "nooooooo" I wanted to read more. Good thing I saw there is a sequel to this. Off to read that soon, but I just wanted to leave on a comment on here first to let you know how much I enjoyed this!

I suspect because I tend to stay hidden in my own little corner of fandom and do not get about in EXO fandom much. ^_^ I'm very glad this worked for you despite not knowing Final Fantasy! Most of the references have names that are fairly self-explanatory, thank goodness. Lu Han's mystery will only deepen as you read on... ;-)
