"Oooh, hello," Alex echoes; the room might lack something in the way of atmosphere, but it more than makes up for that when it comes to -- well, the closest thing to privacy anyone's likely to get around here.

She slips past him, almost drags him forward, hands in his shirt again and teeth scraping his lower lip; she wants it all, whatever she can get from him, hands and mouth and pulse racing to match hers. Anything he can do to make her feel alive again.

She's just enough presence of mind left to kick the door closed behind them.

Right, three days, and this enforced vacation is finally shaping up to the standards he's used to.

He pulls her against him with his hands on her sides, running upwards; stepping forward such that it's a mystery as to whether he's being pulled or she's being pushed.

"Hello, indeed," he exhales.

Alex giggles, half-shrieks, staggers backwards with him propelling her and her own feet trying to trip her up; the hand not clinging to his shoulder for balance finds its way down to tug at his belt, not quite at the right angle to get the buckle open.

"I think," she says as gravely as she can without quite being able to catch her breath, "we could live without a few of these clothes."
