Weird new fascination with giving all my LJ posts Subjects that start "In which I...." is GO.

I'm still mildly fascinated with the Mobile Phone Solutions Hut being out of order from this weekend; there are just no words. When I turned that corner and slowly took in all the facts optically--"No people to bug me! Wait, no phones in the glass! WAIT

Well, if you are worried about coming off as needy or like a loser, which I don't think Kathleen would think either way...why not just email her and say "I really miss you!", and leave out the "I can't wait until you get back" stuff? That way you let her know you are thinking about her, but it can't be misconstrued into you just sitting there, waiting for her return like a "loser", as you seem to think. :P

Despite the humorous tone of your post, I wanted to say you aren't alone in your view of self and relationships. Before you start thinking that she'll think you're boring, she's spent time around you and she knows what you like to do and find fun. I'm not suggesting complacency is the answer and you should never do anything new, just saying. You'll probably feel better if you let her know that you miss her, too. (If I opened my yap a little too much here, my apologies. Virgos have a knee-jerk thing about unsolicited advice. :) I just hate to see you bummed about something like this and hope you can get into a better place mentally about the whole thing.
