That man was, clearly, not a man at all, but Winnie the Pooh.

(And seriously? Winnie the Pooh? How the fuck did THAT start?)

One of the main reasons I don't use LJ anymore is because my subscription lapsed... I still read it constantly, I just don't have anything to write, or if I do, it's really depressing (like the recent stuff about Dominic). If your subscription lapses, it's not like you can't renew it later if you decide you want it again. Or you could just get the icons instead of the whole shebang.

Trinity is lovely. :)

i went through the same dilemma of renewing a couple weeks ago.. i ended up renewing because i guess.. i'm just a traditional kind of person. i've had livejournal since 2002 myself and had another journal, but had that one deleted.

i even went as far as changing my username (lilisee ... yeah, we're changing that..) lol.

i'm not even sure where livejournal is headed, but it's still here so i'm enjoying the ride.

yeah, you can also go to the store and stop auto-renewing payments.. ^_^

stay safe and i'll see you around.

Good question. I don't know if there's an answer, since use of honey seems to be older than the written word. Seriously: http://homecooking.about.com/od/foodhistory/a/honeyhistory.htm

Hope you're doing well.

That's a good point, about honey. I've never wondered that before, but now it's going to wiggle in the back of my head for a while. I imagine the discovery of fire had similar results. (Or rather, the discovery of what happens when one sticks an appendage in the fire. Bet those other cavemen laughed and laughed...)

Maybe there's just an ebb and a flow to LJing? Maybe you'll be back to spouting inanities like nobody's business soon. (Personally I vote for that option. :))
