a question of trans pregnancy.

Just wanted to check with those far better informed than I - Matt Rice, Pat Califia's partner was the first pregnant man - but was he also the first man to give birth? Did he have a C-section?

Matt Rice is the first pregnant man known to the public/media. There have been other pregnancies, usually accidental and rarely brought to term.

I think I remember reading that he'd had a C-section but couldn't swear to it.

There was a documentary on a few years ago about a UK chap who'd had a kid (while living as a man but pre-hormones, which I think he took later) - he was a building site worker until he was about eight months pregnant. The kid was a teen by the time the documentary was made.

The documentary was about him and his partner's wedding - she was trans as well, but they (obvs) didn't want the 'husband' and 'wife' the wrong way round in the service, which they apparently would have been saddled with at their local church, so they were looking into other options.

I'm afraid I don't, and googling idly is bringing me nothing (apart from 'My Mum is My Dad', a Channel 4 documentary from 2004 - I don't think that was it, because it wasn't from the kid's perspective (and anyway, her dad 'was' her 'mum', if you're going to phrase it like that).
