I consider it a glitch in the Spiritual level. No one knows why anything happens around here. It just does, unfortunately.

A puppet. Then the question is, who is holding the strings? Maybe the spiritual level? The spiritual level would also be using the faceless man as a puppet as well. Why create children only for them to be kidnapped?

It also doesn't make sense for it to happen for awhile. Where did those puppets go?
