Claire had been doing some thinking since the memorial service last night. She had lost people she wished she'd gotten a chance to know. Thelma could be added to that list of people.

She shook her head and tried to concentrate on reading a book. She didn't get very far.

"Hey," he said, slumping down onto his bed.

"Hey," Claire replied. She glanced at him curiously. "Everything okay?"
