Outside Crystal Palace- Sunday late morning

Being in the see-through castle of her nightmares during a flying vampire invasion had not seemed optimal (though at least she'd always be able to see them coming?), so Sia had taken Vitor and stayed in the dorms last night. This morning she brought him back out to see what the damage was

Jessica was just coming back after doing radio. She had ice cream, and things were, in general, okay. However....

"You know, we had two people patrolling around here with bows and arrows. There wasn't a single stray shot that popped this thing."

"If we called them, do you think they would come back?" Sia asked.

"I don't really know either of them well enough to ask that," Jessica said. "On the other hand, we're living with a dinosaur and it hasn't accidentally slashed anything, so maybe it's just way too sturdy somehow."

"Or the dinosaur needs to try harder."
