Atton wasn't quite as happy with the whole state of affairs, as was obvious from the amount of sulking he'd been doing recently.

Right now he was sulking under the bed - though Sia's aberrant behavior made him tune in a little more carefully. Bad mistake, as it turned out-- apparently being a wolf didn't mean you got to get out of sensing distress.

Grumble.

He crawled out from under the bed, looking peeved.

Sia looked down at him, still thinking this whole thing was funny because it wasn't happening to her this time, even if she wasn't trying to show that. "And what's your problem?" she asked.

A bunch of people having a problem was his problem, but even if Atton did have vocal chords, he wasn't going to point that out.

Instead he fixed her with a half-baleful, half-questioning stare.

Since Sia didn't really understand wolf expressions that well, she had no idea if she was answering the right question or not. Also, lack of vocal chords.

"Apparently it's one of those days. Again," Sia told him. "I'm sure we'll find out why soon enough."
