Aaaa, aaa, and aaaa (but in a good way)

Ugh, either my blood pressure regulator thing is messed up (which is possible) or I'm having the worst migraine of my life- and a very odd one, too. I nearly passed out yesterday getting groceries, barely made it home, and spent the rest of the afternoon with pressure in my head, 'fizzing' sharp pain, etc. And tons of dizziness. Today I woke up to what I would normally consider a bad migraine, but it hurts in a few different places. I took some migravent, which is pretty much guaranteed to give me migraine symptoms in a few hours, but right now it's a little better. I've tried to work most of today, but it was slow-ass going. This does not bode well for finishing my work on time, but then again, I'm really fucking hoping I don't have to deal with this crap for two more weeks. We'll see- last week I spent flaring (I've done a fair number of that today and yesterday too), was extremely sluggish, had a giant mood dip, and blood pressure issues, as well. So something is definitely up.

I see a doctor next week for the blood pressure stuff, hopefully he can figure it out. He kinda sucks as far as bedside manner, but if I have Dan there, maybe he can tell him these things.

Suffice it to say, I can barely look at the screen right now doing work, so I'm probably not going to be RPing until I'm through the brunt of this.

Another upsetting thing is that my snake seems to have problems with his tail again. These aren't burns, as there's nothing to burn his tail on- I caught what looked like a blood blister or blood underthe skin before I saw the small wound there a couple days later. I'm really worried. :/ The old wounds healed up just as predicted, and these are lower down, so I'm really not sure what's going on. It's on the top of the tail, so I don't think it's scale rot (besides I've been cleaning the cage pretty regularly since he originally got hurt). And I've been checking closely for mites, and taken out all the things he could hurt himself rubbing on (since I thought maybe that was a problem). I'm trying to up the humidity in the cage, since it's very dry here in Colorado and red-tailed boas are not made for 'dry'. He's also continually had a hard time shedding since getting here, so that should help with that, too, I hope. He seems to be a little skinny to me, but eating and acting fine- he's always very alert and friendly when I handle him. So I'm not sure how much I should be concerned. I'm going to be watching him closely the next couple days when I put Neosporin on him- see if his condition changes.

A good thing lately is that we got Silent Hill Downpour, and so far its pretty awesome. There's always something different in every new Silent Hill game- this big change, for me, is that you're playing someone who's killed someone before. That's...some guilt. The tone and atmosphere feel right to me. There's a new mechanic in the otherworld, but it's pretty cool and operates in a way that's making my psychiatrist character, Dr. Abernathy, sit up and take notice. AND they have a Silent Hill 4 easter egg in there somewhere (we haven't found it yet, but people have been sharing it online), and that just warms my heart. Thanks, Vatra. <3 Soooo yeah, that's getting my horror RP wants going (and hey, part of the reason I picked up Dr. Ben is because he reminded me a lot of a SH character), but I am not even looking at the screen typing this, and as I just wrote, there are plenty of other things going on, so...I'll just keep that in my heart for now. Wow, that was a long and confusing sentence. Yeah, okay, time for a lay-down.
