Atem met this Meowth during his travels at night on route 7. He had just sat down and set up a campfire, ready to relax after a hard day of traveling and battles. It was the fire that reflected so brightly on one of his silver bands that caught the attention of this cat pokemon. She was quick to strike, trying to take the bracelet away from Atem. After dismissing her attempts and battling with her, he kept her on his team.

This pokemon was found as she was pit against the Rockets. They were trying to take her down and steal her baby. Once Atem got through with them they barely knew what hit them. After that he was worried the pokemon might turn on him as well, but he found her to be quite the gentle giant. After rushing them to a pokemon center for treatment, she decided to stay with his team.

Nothing is known about this pokemon or why it's on Atem's team. When asked all he'll say is that he's holding onto it for a friend. He never puts it into battle, although the pokemon seems able to defend itself (what with the mysterious usage of Fire Blast), and only takes it out to take care of it and feed it.

This little bunny was abandoned by its group, or perhaps it got lost. It wandered up to Atem's makeshift camp in the middle of the night, cold and lonely. Of course he was quick to take it in, not wanting it to get picked up by some vicious pokemon. After a search for its group provided no leads, he just decided to take her on his team until she decided to depart. That day has yet to come. At times she seems overly grateful, which can become a problem rather quickly...

A very distressed Nurse Joy was quick to pass off this pokemon onto the, by then, well known trainer. She had said that a group of Puruglys kept on beating it up relentlessly. Every week she'd find it crawling around, hurt and abandoned, with no one to help it. Atem took Glameow onto his team, helping him take revenge on the terrible ally cats that had since ruined its life. Though far beyond the stage of evolution now, it seems Glameow refuses to evolve, scared perhaps that if he did, he might become mean and terrible like the Puruglys that once tormented him.
