This Electabuzz was causing massive power outages at Lavender Town. The ghosts inside the Pokemon Tower constantly picked on this wayward pokemon until one day it had had enough and sent a streak of lightning right up the side of the tower. Due to the antenna on top it radiated outwards towards the entire city and caused a massive blackout. Atem, traveling by at the time, had decided to try and take on the Elctabuzz to try and stop it from causing havoc. The pokemon actually ran all the way back to the Power Plant before giving up the chase and facing the trainer.

Characteristic: Quick Tempered
Move Set: Bite, Thunder Fang, Wild Charge, Snarl
This Electrike got picked on often for not being as fast as her other brothers and sisters. While Atem was biking down Route 110, she challenged him to a race in front of the other pokemon. He didn't seem to understand so she continually stepped in front of his path until he allowed it. The two raced down the path and in the end Atem won. She got so upset that she shocked his bike and melted it. He got angry enough to challenge her to an actual battle (wouldn't you, bikes cost like a million dollars). Atem has since forgiven her (but not acquired a new bike).

Move Set: Toxic, Spark, Thunder Fang, Crunch
Shinx seemed to have gotten whisked away by its curiosity by a group of mean Exeggcute who wanted nothing but to torture it. When Atem happened upon the group, they tried to act like they were merely playing. However the soft flashes of the scared Shinx's fur tipped him off to his troubles. He challenged the eggs to a battle, taking them all on at once. It was quickly over with. Afterwards Shinx joined his team, grateful for his help.
Magneton
Caught as a Magnemite; found on Route 39
Level 55
Genderless
Nature: Quirky
Characteristic: Somewhat Stubborn
Move Set: Spark, Magnet Bomb, Discharge, Mirror Shot
While Atem was training on Route 39 he happened upon this little Magnemite. When it was down to about half of its HP in battle it called in all the other Magnemite in the area to give itself an unfair advantage. Atem even managed to get hit in the process of their multiple shockwaves, angering his current pokemon out on the field. Eventually his team was able to take down all of the surrounding magnet pokemon, leaving the first one who caused all the trouble to apologize profusely.
