You remember telling him, "You can't bother me while I'm busy." Not in a cruel way and you certainly didn't mean it the way he was taking it. What you meant was that he shouldn't try to bother you. Maybe mid-terms are coming up or maybe it's something just as important somewhere else. However maybe you forgot you were speaking to Atem.

lol what is logic or canon whocares~ )
At least the teacher hadn't collected everyone's homework yet, he still had a chance to finish if he hurried. And if he was lucky, he'd have some time to cram for the test in his next class. He scribbled more answers onto the paper, ignoring his other self's presence. Atem was probably just seeing what he was doing. Spirits get bored sitting in their soul rooms all day, after all.
The ghostly fingers on his arm came as a surprise, and Yugi did his best to not make too much noise. His cheeks turned a light pink as he glared at a certain Pharaoh at his side.
'M-mou hitori no boku!'

He looked over to his trouble-making doppleganger with a pouty blush. He was starting to want the other's help now... but not with his homework. 'I... Maybe.'

Still.. Yugi had said maybe. So he leaned over just a little more, almost like the shadow that he was, his arms encircling Yugi's body and draping over him as he leaned forward. His eyes skimmed the paper.
'Help with what question?' Because that was what Yugi had meant, right?

'Uh... This one...' He pointed a finger at one of the unanswered questions, with a perky grin. 'Maybe it'd help if you got a little closer, mou hitori no boku...'
...Wait a minute, since when was Atem sitting at the desk? And why were some scrawny, ghostly arms wrapping themselves around his neck? ...Uh oh.

Help, right? His fingers skimmed along the pencil as he unlocked the equation in his mind and moved to write it ....
Wait.
His head jerked up from looking at the homework. 'Aibou!' He'd been had.

'Shhh, calm down, mou hitori no boku~' He pressed his lips against the back of Atem's fluffy head and held back a laugh. 'You don't wanna get me in trouble, do you?' He rested his cute little head on Atem's and watched him, thinking of what all he could do right now...

He pondered for a moment smirking it off and saying he could in fact get Yugi in trouble, so he should behave. But he knew that would be a short lived tactic. Both of them knew Atem wouldn't do anything to harm his partner or his partner's reputation. Damn it.
His eyes closed once as he tried to draw upon his calm center, then opened and he finished the equation on the paper. 'No, I don't.' Points for honesty, right? 'But I can't do all of your work for you. Switch back now.' It probably wouldn't work but he had to try.

A grinning Yugi disappeared, and quickly reappeared in Atem's lap, with a caressing his pink, blushy cheek. He pressed his lips against the other's forehead and turned a little red himself. 'I'm not switching back after what you did...'
Instead, he'd just have to grope around until he and Atem were even. But first... grinding his hips against his other self's shouldn't be too bad, right?

His eyes moved center as Yugi sat. It was odd, seeing Yugi and being able to lightly see through him. It helped to keep his gaze center, too, as some other students were turning back as he sat further back in the chair. He didn't look at them, waiting until they were turned around to shoot a weak glare at his partner.
'I stopped when you told me to and I-'
The thought was cut short as his bottom lip was tugged on very tightly by his upper teeth. It was the only thing he could do to get himself to stay quiet at that. Though he did struggle forward in the chair slightly. 'Aibou please, not even I can exert such self control under these conditions.' His breathing had already become a little harsher as a result.

Looks like a certain aibou needs to teach a certain spirit a lesson. He scooted backward and let his hand trail down Atem's chest until it reached his... Nah, not yet.
'But mou hitori no boku,' He leaned closer and placed a finger on his partner's lips. 'Isn't this what you wanted~?'

His hips arched up slightly, expecting that hand to go exactly where it didn't. He grit his teeth again, actually scrawling more on Yugi's homework to try and distract himself. It wasn't really working.
Atem's eyes rose with that finger on his slightly parted lips, a deep breath drawn in to be held. 'Only when it was you in this seat.'

Yugi lightly wrapped his fingers around Atem's wrist, trying to stop his scrawling without bringing much attention to them. 'Don't do that, mou hitori no boku.' He worked hard on that! Sure, he did most of it in class, but... it's still important!
Then he leaned closer, letting go of Atem's hand and pressing his forehead against the other's. Hmmm, maybe he suffered enough.
'...Fine. We'll switch.' He couldn't torture his favorite Pharaoh for too long. But would Atem behave? ...Probably not.

Still, he was trying to be prideful about it. About being cornered and leading himself into this situation. At Yugi's lenience he looked back at him with a light grin. Well of course.
It wasn't long before he found himself leaning against the desk lightly, still grinning at his young partner. 'Now would you really want yourself at my mercy?'

'...Don't think I won't take the Puzzle off.'

Still ... he had seemed to make Yugi pretty cross. He didn't want to chance it. Not yet. Hm. He needed a plan of action.
All he gave his partner was a curt nod before seeming to vanish without notice. After a few moments however he could be seen moving throughout the class, leaning over certain students or just sauntering around the aisle space. He just wanted to see what his little partner might say to that.

He went back to working, answering another question or two before he got stuck on another problem. He felt a certain spirit's lingering presence, and his eyes wandered over to Atem, sashaying around the room. He did have nice hips...
Yugi groaned as he facedesked. Why is life so hard.
