It's very quiet today. Too quiet. The kind of quiet in movies where people are about to get killed. Oh. No wait, it's not quiet. There's a sort of rustling noise coming from the couch. You look over there to see a jacket of some sort haphazardly thrown against one of the cushions on the far right. The noise is coming from the jacket. Something is ( Read more... )

At first she thinks it must be Ifrit, working from her desk in her apartment, But Cissnei quickly remembers that her cat is much like a ninja, sneaky and only seen and heard when it wants to be. The redhead glances over at the couch curiously, frown touching her face as she stands- That jacket had not been there before, and most certianly did not belong to her- to make her way over to it, flicking the fabric off of the seat and ready to deal with whatever was that.

...Okay, not quite everything. "Atem?" She said out of surprise, because who else could it be? "How did you get in here?"

"I think I was on my way to see you." The response was halfhearted at best and a little confused sounding. He sat back, tail swishing out behind him in a sort of aggravated manner. No, he did not like being this small, 5'2'' he could handle. But this?

"It's a little blurry." How he got in there, how he ended up underneath a jacket, ...why he was suddenly a tiny kitten. Yes, these were things he didn't really understand quite yet.

Well then. Cissnei really had seen just about everything now. The woman sits on her knees in front of the couch so she was more at Atem's level, and to get a better look at him. "That's strange," She muses, eyes pulling away from him over toward her closet, where her old NV sat locked inside a safe, having not been touched in a good long time.

"You didn't speak to anyone on your way over here, did you?"

He couldn't decide for a moment whether it was better to have to be looked down at or her coming to him was a good thing. It only reminded him more of how tiny he really was right now. His head tilted up proudly, still seeming to have lost none of his pride in this ordeal. His tail was still swishing about on the couch cushion underneath him.

"No." This answer seemed at least definite, more so than the other had been. "I was just coming over from my apartment." A little hesitant there.
