It had been a few days since you and Atem had parted, or have you not had the pleasure yet of meeting one of the world's most brightest pokemon minds? He's gained every single badge in every region and beat the Elites. A solitary character, though, sometimes he disappears completely out of view. A

Atem really did have the worst timing. Kaiba had accepted some time ago that the shorter man he was currently stalking travelling with would disappear every so often. He had grown somewhat used to it at this point, using his time alone to train, develop new strategies, and take care of whatever minor personal business he had. Of course Atem had to fly back in on a very large pokemon just when that personal business involved possibly catching something new.

"Atem!" Kaiba snapped, almost as if his rival slash...whatever he was's name was a curse. The small tusked pokemon he had been battling quickly panicked at the sight of Aerodactyl and disappeared into the bushes.

His eyebrows rose as he watched the pokemon, a slight apologetic look taking hold of him. Though he didn't look particularly vexed, which is exactly the emotion Kaiba seemed to be exerting. He looked more... sorry and amused.

"Sorry." And he would at least apologize for it. "Do you want me to leave?"

The brunet shot the shorter man a dry look as he withdrew his Garchomp.

"It's a little late," he remarked. That pokemon was long gone by now. "But perfect timing as always, considering it's you. I assume you wish to move on?"

His hands slipped into his pockets as he looked around. Sometimes it surprised him how used to Kaiba his pokemon had gotten that they could locate him. He'd probably never tell the brunet that his directions in times like this were "locate Seto", but they worked just as well.

"You can continue training. There has to be more pokemon around here. I can wait somewhere." He knew how important training was, especially to Kaiba of all people.

Yuugi looked up from where he was petting his little Eevee and smiled when he saw the other. It's been so long! Yuugi jumped up and threw himself into the others arms, hugging him tight!

"Atem!" He was so happy to see him! "Where have you been all this time?!" It was just like Yuugi to put all his attention on the trainer before the poke'mon, especally if it was someone as close a friend as Atem. Any legendary poke'mon friends or prehistoric poke'mon? Totally missed right now. Derp.

"Are you hungry? Tired? I can get something for everyone to eat." He moved over to his Eevee and picked her up into his arms again, petting her. "I have a few poke'mon in the nursary right now so I have no where to be, tell me everything!"

The air rushed from his lungs with such a powerful hug with the accompaniment of a soft 'oof'. Yuugi was always quite excitable. Had he really been gone that long? It couldn't have been more than a week. He was always so careful with that.

And the questions began and he couldn't help a little grin. "Everything? What's there to tell?" He tried to joke with that grin still. He couldn't help his need for privacy. He just couldn't risk letting any more people into his already destroyed world. "I'm sure everyone would like a little rest and some sun." He mused, not including himself in that everyone. "Are we close to a town?" He never let all his pokemon out at once but he was careful to make sure they all got their time. Being locked in that pokeball all the time couldn't be pleasant.

"Of course, I was just taking Eevee for a walk." She let out a little joyful cry and swished her tail. Yuugi scratched her ear. "Follow me, I'll lead you back." Yuugi led Atem down the trail giving Atem's Aerodactyl a smile and a pat.

"Hey there." he greeted. "You look a bit tired, are you hungry?" Yuugi spoiled his poke'mon, and when he got the chance, poke'mon who belonged to others as well. "I'll make food the moment we get back." he said in a promising tone.

"Atem, what are you hungry for?"

The prehistoric pokemon turned its snout up at Yuugi's questioning. Even if it was tired or hungry it would never admit to such things. It was too proud for that. As such it gave Atem a sharp look accompanied with all those little sharp fangs in its mouth and the trainer rolled his eyes before recalling it. It never did well to keep that one out when not battling for too long.

"I apologize. He's not one of my more sociable ones." The ball went back onto his belt as he gave the other a very neutral look accompanied with a roll of his shoulders. "Whatever you want is fine."
