You've known him for a long time now. He's never aged a day. There's a few reasons for that, reasons that drew you in in the first place. Or was it he that was drawn in? Either way, the closer you got, the less you were able to deny him. Tonight proved to be rather difficult. Halloween, and for some reason those scarlet eyes of his glowed brightly

Be young forever and be with him just as long...
But... so many things she could do as a human that she couldn't as a vampire. She wondered what color her hair would change to with age since her hair was already naturally white.
And, she thought with a light blush on her face, him no doubt hearing the quickening of her heart... what about a family? Vampires certainly couldn't start families... not like humans could.
"...Would you still love me, no matter which one I chose?"

"Yes." He said quietly before speaking again. "But there won't be much to love once you die." A rather blunt statement but true nonetheless.

"Human life... isn't all that short. I... I still have a few good years left on me, right?" That and she didn't want to be like those girls that would jump at the chance to be a vampire.

And they'd leave him eventually, too. He never learned his lesson.

"Desperate, aren't you?" Kaiba remarked, keeping his tone dry. "If I do it, you will miss the blood, I'm sure."

"...I can always switch to donor blood instead of another live human." Sometimes he had to wonder who the real territorial animal was with how the other reacted about him having to drink from other people. Then again... his dominant anger was rather endearing.

"Don't treat me like I'm stupid. You aren't the type to be satisfied with blood that isn't fresh. Isn't that why you went after me in the first place?"

It took some getting used to after Yugi first found out about this, though he didn't judge his partner too much. Atem couldn't help it, after all. But this put him in a very awkward position.
There was so much to think about. What about his family? And his friends? He couln't watch them all die, but he didn't know if he could turn them all either. But he loved Atem too, and being a vampire wouldn't be too bad. Decisions, decisions...
"I... I don't know, Atem." He gazed into the other's eyes sorrowfully. "You know how hard it is for me to choose."

"I know." He murmured. "You can tell me no and I'll leave it be, you know." He really would. It would kill him to hear that answer, but he would take it. It wasn't like he was trying to force this on the other.

"I don't know what I'd do about my family and friends." He said, looking away before continuing. "But I don't want you to deal with... you know." That one thing that mortals do. Being selfless is so hard.

"What do you mean 'do'?"

"A--Atem?" Seth asked, not even noticing the glass of water slipping from his own fingers to break on the floor.

"Seth."

With unusually shaking hands, Seth reached for the first piece; while the action might have seemed unconscious, it was possibly more deliberate than either thought as his hand quickly bloodied from where he'd sliced it on the protruding piece.
"Apologies...I never meant to be this clumsy," He began, swallowing roughly. "Please, won't you come in? We can talk more about this...offer?"
