Atem had made it a point of turning his office into his main hangout for some reason but Seto had never exactly complained about it. The guy was quiet, whenever he got into his affairs it was almost as if the guy wasn't even there. During the beginning if this new ritual, Seto had always wondered what compelled Atem to come back every time. He recalled the first few times he had been here, Seto had felt guilty. The pencil had slipped from his grip completely at this point, book falling to his lap. He instinctively curled, snuggled up along the back of the couch, head on the arm. His breathing slowed as he dozed before he completely went unconscious.
This type of sleep was deep. It seemed that he felt comfortable enough around Kaiba now to just pass out in his office. This would become a one-time experience if Kaiba threw a fit about it, but for now... for now he didn't really care. In the company of his rival and somewhat awkward friend, he felt safe and warm and at ease.
