my mom needs back surgery. my dad's getting sued. if they don't make a substantial payment on car insurance we're getting cut off from it. oh& my grandma probably won't make it until next summer when I'd be able to see her. & I'm 20 years old and am $23,000 in debt. Time to start hustlin ya buns for scholarships and government money! The busier you stay, the less time you have to think about anything else but what you've put your mind to. Today was FIT's cut off for spring semester priority consideration for FAFSA but that might have just been for new students. Either way the Pell grant can give you up to 5500, which would cover your tuition and a year of books. You probably also qualify as an FIT presidential scholar~* which gives you an annual $500 stipend...which is peanuts but pays a few months of the cell phone. You have til May 1st to apply for FAFSA and you don't qualify if you've ever defaulted/are in default on any student loan so make sure you aren't falling into that category.
