I totally read a few of those Oscar Wilde books a few years ago, and I remember enjoying them. Have you by any chance read Carole Nelson Douglas's Irene Adler series? They're similar in that they're awesome Victorian mystery romps, but they are starring IRENE ADLER and her adorable bff PENELOPE HUXLEIGH and it's awesome Sherlock Holmesian lady adventures!

I think maybe I picked up one of those Irene Adler books a few years ago, but didn't get too far into it, for some reason? I should give definitely give it another try, because IRENE ADLER and Holmesian lady adventures sounds like fun! (One of the reasons I disliked the fifth Oscar Wilde mystery was because their pseudo-Irene Adler was a total disappointment.)
