Aww...they're so darn cute. My dear departed cat Faye had all black whiskers except for one white one. It was the cutest thing. She was a tortie and her white whisker popped out so much that when I sketched her it was the only whisker I would draw.

Aww, that sounds cute! Torties are so beautiful. Are black whiskers common? I don't think I've ever seen them before I got Simon.

Well, I have black tabbies now and they have black whiskers...I'm not sure how the genetic go. Hmm. I used to have a long-haired tabby who was sort of grey/black/brown and I can't remember if her whiskers were black or not.
