Skinny's first checkup

Well, I took Skinny to the Humane Society vet yesterday, and he'll be with me for another week at least. He's still sneezing and coughing. The vet switched him to Clavamox (from Doxycycline) to see if that works better, but honestly I think he's getting worse

Yeah, I would call the HS to get a new bottle. That doesn't sound right.

Yeesh. I've had to give cats Clavamox and no one ever told me a) to refrigerate it or b) that it wasn't supposed to look like that!

clavamox: should be refrigerated. That length of time not chilled shouldn't have been bad, but the consistency sounds wrong. I would give the vet a ring and see what they say. As I recall, it's a mixed medication, so it could vary?

And the only real side effect I've ever encountered has been tummy ick.
