I can't say I hated it, because I didn't. It was hard to stop thinking about it when I finally went to bed. Honestly I think I appreciated it more after I was done watching it and had thought about it for a while. I'm sad that some huge questions weren't answered. I'm not sure if the writers had this planned all along but from the beginning the theme was "live together, die alone" which kind of sums up the ending. Also now looking back when Desmond would say "see you in another life brotha" it makes sense. I think for me, i'm mostly sad that the experience is over.I don't think there will ever be another show that will compare to Lost.

I like what you said about stories. I often think I get a little too involved in my imaginary people and tv shows, but at the end of the day, I am just a HUGE fan of story-telling.
Characters, and situations, and everything that combines to make you love it or invest in it.
That to me is what makes it enjoyable and special.
