break post and a gift narration

Break is coming up on me! For anyone interested in knowing, if you're curious or a fan of the League/Elite Four, here is my plan for the break!

I, Lance, am going on a KANTO GYM TOUR over the break. I was thinking of starting my visit with our recently lost Professor Oak, and moving north from there, and traveling onwards visiting major Gyms across

FFF TRAVELING WITH LANCE RATICATE WILL BE SO PISSED OFF ♥ Ah, you're headed to Kanto as well? I'll be going to Viridian, and I definitely wouldn't object to company on the flight...

What a coincidence, Blacky had just received a gift from Lance. A cute little display case Pokeball... she'd seen them for sale in shops all over Kanto, but she hadn't seen them here. And what a stylish cape along with it! This was definitely going into her personal costume collection.

The woman leaned back in her chair, carefully popping the ball open. It was...!

Lovely, company is always nice, especially on a plane. Let me know when you're leaving, my tour is a surprise one so I'm rather flexible.

T-tonight? Okay, uhm, I'll get packing right quickly, I'll be living out of suitcases anyways, it shouldn't take long.

Uhm, knock on my door when you're leaving? Or I'll head by if I pack faster than I thought. Whatever happens.

Nyx nearly trips on the box when she reaches her dorm, and gives it an incredulous look.
What the fuck...?

To be honest, she wasn't even expecting any gifts. Sure, she'd gotten some for friends, but... eh.
She opened it out of curiosity, discarded the cape for Fearow to play with, and picked up the pokeball inside. As a wild pokemon herself, she was a little wary of the object- Nyx was not going to become the slave of any random bastard who came along wanting a Haunter. If she was even going to be a trainer's pokemon, it would be her desicion.
So she was a little cautious of it, at first. Though, upon realising an identical box was laying next to where hers had been for Tetra, and that, at least to her knowledge, golden pokeballs did not exist, she finally poked at the button to see what was inside.

Of course it was Christmas and that meant mysterious Snakes presents in boxes all around but that didn't stop Samus from treating the inconspicuous little box as a possible weapon of mass destruction before she deemed it safe to bring inside TD-1.

A couple of thermal and infrared scans later just to be sure, she opened the parcel and gingerly clicked open the gold-plated Pokeball...
