[ There is a brief silence at the beginning of the feed, as though the responder is still processing what appears to be the reality of the situation. This could be a trick, a trap, even if she doesn't want to believe it... or the words of the first woman who replied to that familiar spiky-headed SOLDIER First Class. Those words won't stop ringing in her head and with all that's occurred lately... with all that's occurred, she puts the woman's words aside for the moment and presses on. She has to be sure it's him, to find out when he's from, for that matter. ]

[Zack thought he recognized that voice, but so many people had bombarded him and his head was spinning. Having a stranger know you. Instead he just gives a very downhearted chuckle and the sound of the communicator being turned and twisted as he wipes his face from the tears for a moment. His next comment is a tad sarcastic, but just a little of his old joking manner to show that it's him; just not at his best.]

[ Translation: I was worried about you then and I'm worried about you now. Stop making that face I know your making. Please? ]

[Wait....he knew that voice, holy shit it was Valeria of the Turks?! Two weeks? It had been a whole lot longer than that since Zack had answered his phone, that he was sure of..at least four years in his memories, six if Tifa was correct. But, there is a certain pick up to his voice, even if that hint of sadness doesn't quite fade]

Sorry about that, I got a little tied up back home, Nibelheim wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. I'm not the one who was here before, some other guy thought that too, trust me I've never seen this place Valeria and I'd give my left foot to go home right now. not really I need it, but still....
