Title: Myths
pairings: kangin centric, kangteuk, kyuteuk, mentioned yewook
rating: R
disclaimer: i own no one and noting
A/N: this is based off of a greek myth but of course a lot of things were changed.

Kangin let out a sigh as he gazed down at the earth from high upon the clouds, everyone on earth appeared so much happier than him. They had lasting marriages and love, what did they know about love anyway? Kangin personally knew the goddess(god) of love and she (or better chosen word, he) was just a loose tramp. “Egh.” Kangin let out a noise of disgust as he watched a pair of humans whisper ‘I love you’ before heading off in different directions.

Kangin slipped his hand into the circular bag next to him, pulling out a thunderbolt before chucking it down towards the mortals, not hitting them though. Which he found to be a pointless job as well, he controlled thunder bolts but as the ruler of Olympus he was expected not to harm anyone with them.

“Wife problems aye?” Kibum commented sitting down next to the fellow god. He closed his poetry book so he could focus more of what was traveling the older deity.

“Eh, when aren’t he and I having problems?”

“What’s wrong today?” Kibum questioned.

“Well, he’s all bent out of shape about being the ‘goddess of marriage and childbirth’ because he looks like a girl so humans believe he is a woman. Then he’s mad because he can’t have children so he believes its some stupid thing for him to be the god of it. Then he believes he is far more beautiful than Sungmin and that he should be the god of love and beauty. OH and then all he does is bitch about me being unfaithful and making him look bad,” Kangin complained.

“Hmm I can see where he is coming from, you do cheat an awful lot.” Kibum murmured.

“Yeah, but Heechul knew that was going to happen when we got together. Because you, being the prophecy god that you are, told him that I was going to go else where for sex.” Kangin explained.

“I know, but you know how stubborn he is. And he loved you.”

“But I’ve never loved him.” Kangin mumbled, “Maybe if he had a better attitude.” He picked up another thunderbolt throwing it towards another mountain.

“You are going to kill someone if you keep doing that.” Yesung remarked as he waltzed over, a dark aura surrounding him.

“You would be the first to know wouldn’t you?” Kangin began to laugh, obnoxiously slapping his knee, as Kibum stayed composed next to him.

“One day, I’ll find away to kill you.” Yesung glared, crossing his arms.

“Geesh, someone’s grumpy.” Kangin antagonized.

“Grumpy?” Yesung began to laugh manically. “Grumpy? That’s the best you got? Huh? Why don’t we put you in charge of the underworld for eternity, give you a mutated pet. The three headed dog that doesn’t have enough brains to learn the simple command sit! Lets take you away from the top of this mountain, away from your view of nice lively people and shove you in the dark basement of the earth, where souls reside and every new arrival asks the same damn question ‘am I dead?’ ‘Oh no, of course not you just taking a tour of the god damn underworld!’ Those fucking idiots!” Yesung growled, the seclusion in the depths of the underworld seemed to be taking psychological effects on the other god.

“Sorry,” Kangin mumbled picking up another thunderbolt, getting ready to throw it.

“Whatever you are planning to do, don’t.” Kibum spoke casually opening his poetry book again,

“huh?” Kangin froze in mid throw, tightening his grip on the thunderbolt so it didn’t slip out of his hands.

“Not you,” Kibum sighed turning slightly to look at Yesung, “You.”

“What? Why me? I’m not planning anything bad, but you are going to let him kill people with his fancy thunderbolts, so unfair.” Yesung huffed crossing his arms.

“Don’t lie to me, I know what you are going to do in the future.”

“That means nothing now, that’s the future that’s a ways away.”

“It’s next week, I saw this a few years ago but just remembered it recently because of the way you have been acting.” Kibum explained.

“I don’t know what you are talk-”

“Yes you do.” Kibum sighed angrily, “You are going to kidnap Ryeowook.”

“No I’m not.”

“Yes you are, and you are going to take him down to the underworld so he is stuck there.” Kibum and Yesung were too busy bickering to see Kangin carelessly toss the thunderbolt towards the ground, without aiming it.

“Wh-why would I kidnap Ryeowook?” Yesung laughed nervously. Kibum opened his mouth to speak back but a loud cry of pain filled the air. Yesung turned slowly his eye twitching. “See look what you have done! Didn’t I tell you he would hurt someone? Aren’t you able to see the future how come you didn’t call that one huh?”

“Shut up!” Kibum screamed, throwing his poetry book to the floor. “You go make sure whoever you hit doesn’t die! And you!” Kibum turned back to Yesung, “You just get out of my sight!”

“Geesh, someone’s emotional.” Yesung commented earning a chuckle out of Kangin before they left to go their separate ways.

Kangin jumped off of the clouds, transforming into a bird to fly safely towards, dancing in the wind as his fluttering came to an end as he landed safely onto the ground. He thought for a moment trying to think of an animal he had seen frequently scouring the floral green carpet which covered the globe. His feathers melted away and turned to small rough hairs covering his body, his spine extending into a tail and his beak into a snout, razor sharp teeth inside his mouth.

He exited from behind the bushes, his wolf form complete, but it was much larger than normal wolves he had seen, maybe he made himself that way to be more unique or to show whomever he saved that he was some how related to the gods. He wanted this person to know some divine power was behind this action he was making.

He crept towards a crumpled body that lay in the grass. It’s once cream colored skin on one of it’s legs was fried a dark black and peeling, blood seeping out of the terrible wound. The man had stopped trying to struggle to move and stood still so he could focus on managing his pain. Kangin took a few steps closer, noticing how the man went rigid and let out a small cry in fright.

Kangin ignored the quivers that ran through the middle aged man’s body as he gripped the man’s shirt with his teeth and threw him onto his back. Kangin then quickly ran to the closest house, hoping someone who could tend to the man would be there, because despite Kangin’s godly powers he couldn’t heal mortals.

Kangin felt relieved as he noticed a small cottage up ahead, three little girls were standing outside. “Umma, Umma! There’s a wolf!” They cried pointing in Kangin’s direction. “And it’s got Appa!” A middle aged woman and a boy around his early twenties exited the cottage, scooping the little girls into their arms before running back inside in a panic.

Kangin nearly lost his footing and fell over when he had saw the young man. Beauty had flowed from every move he made and every expression that graced his face. He let out a small growl when he noticed the young man disappear behind the wooden door. He was glad he had at least brought the man to his home. Kangin shook the man off his back and onto the doorstep, then ran away into some near by foliage, there he crouched an waited for another glimpse of the beautiful mortal.

The young man was the first to exit the cottage, quickly kneeling down to embrace his father. “Appa,” he cried hurriedly afraid he was already to late. A cough from the older man gave the family a sigh of relief, he was coughing on pain but at least he was alive.

Kangin watched as dimples dug their way into the young beauty’s cheeks as the fear of his father being dead washed away. “I’ll go get help!” The young man called letting his mother take hold of his father while eh stood to leave.

Kangin let out an irritated sigh he wasn’t ready to have to take his eyes off the younger man, but he knew the others would grow suspicious if he was gone to long, especially Heechul, probably accusing him of another affair.

*****************************************

For the next four days Kangin sat and from his throne watching the young man he had encountered. Although, the young man appeared older than Kangin, that was not so due to Kangin being immortal. Everyday the young man tended to his father and tucked his sisters into bed singing them a song so beautiful even the Muses would be envious if they ever heard it. Kangin loved how the mortal was always smiling so happily even if he felt uncomfortable, he smiled to make others comfortable.

Kangin let out a long sigh, resting his cheek on his palm as he tried to think of a course of action. He needed to be around that mortal even if it was just for a night. Dangerous lust which had visited five times before was now ensnaring him in the same way. Kangin just wanted to see the young man at his worst, he wanted to see him taken over by emotions, dirty emotions. He wanted to see him with all limitations gone, without fear of the public eye or the fear of displeasing a god.

“You do know there is a word for what your doing, right?” Eunhyuk’s voice broke through the thoughts of the Olympian ruler.

“Hm?” Kangin questioned, fixing his posture as he turned to face the other god.

“Stalking. That’s what it’s called. However, you have an unfair advantage you can watch him from a far distance and not worry about getting caught.” Eunhyuk smiled at the frown that covered Kangin’s lips.

“That sounds so wrong, and gross. I am just simply making sure his father heals after all I was the one that harmed him.” Kangin tried to cover.

“Oh look he’s stripping to take a swim in the ocean.” Eunhyuk exclaimed pointing towards the earth.

“What?!” Kangin exclaimed turning his head hurriedly to look. Eunhyuk burst into fits of laughter, holding his stomach as it began to feel raw from laughing to hard and long.

“Why are you even here, shouldn’t you be off delivering messages or something.” Kangin tried to shoo the other god away, while glaring at the same time.

“Hmm, nope I have delivered all the messages requested of me.”

“Then go spy on someone else’s mortal. You aren’t serving me, so go, go away. I don’t like the way you look at him.” Kangin pushed Eunhyuk’s chair over that he was sitting in.

“It’s no fun spying on mortals, no one exactly prays to the messenger god.” Eunhyuk pouted. “Especially not pretty nymphs.”

“Well if you would just approach one casually and do not stutter all the time maybe then you’d get somewhere. No one wants to be near someone who can’t even pronounce words clearly. Just learn to be smooth. And they will come to you.” Kangin explained, sitting up straight flaunting his confidence.

“According to Heechul you are so smooth you are liquid that’s why you cheat so much. Speaking of which, if you do approach that mortal down there,” Eunhyuk pointed downwards. “You do know, I will have to be the one to copy down what Heechul has to say to you and deliver it to you. Please think this over! I beg you! He gets very wrathful and I don’t want to deal with that, he throws things then tries to seduce me so he can cheat on you, its just a bad time.”

“Maybe if you just gave in and slept with him, you both would be in better dispositions.” Kangin shrugged.

“You know what, I’m glad, very glad. That this conversation took place because it gave Kyuhyun more time to make his move.” Eunhyuk smiled smugly.

“What do you mean?” Kangin turned his head slowly, his glare, deathly.

“Oh, nothing. Just Kibum told me to give you a message.”

“And?”

“Oh and I had to give Yesung one, something about if you aren’t going to kidnap Ryeowook why are you fixing up your bedroom in the underworld.” Eunhyuk rambled.

“That’s not what I mean, you rat!” Kangin growled, lunging at the other god, grabbing his throat to strangle him.

“Tell me what the message for me is or…or I’ll rip your head off and roll it in mud before I reattach it.”

“That’s..not…fair. You know…how much…. I hate clumpy hair.” Eunhyuk struggled to get out.

“Then tell me!” Kangin’s grip tightened.

“Okay, okay.” Kangin’s grip loosened so the other god could talk, but he did not remove his hand entirely.

“Well, I guess your beloved mortal, prays to Kyuhyun a lot, because he fears earthquakes and his family visit’s the sea a lot and he thinks it’s the most majestic and beautiful thing he has ever seen. So Kyuhyun got to see this “beauty” long before you and now he wants himself a little taste.”

“That asshole!” Kangin growled.

“If I would have ruled the sea this would never have happened.” Yesung sang as he walked by them.

Kangin was too furious to notice as he jumped off of the mountain transforming into another bird before reaching the land and turning back into one of his previous forms a large wolf. He took quick and large leaps across the land until he finally reached the vast grassy field in which the mortal tended his father’s sheep.

Kangin decided to move more slowly in fear of scary the sheep off. It was a wasted effort, because the near sight of him made the sheep run. But it did help draw the mortal’s attention. Kangin stood still watching the mortal move to see what scared his flock so much. Kangin couldn’t help but mentally smirk as the mortal didn’t run away in fear but watched curiously.

“Jungsu, what are you doing?” Another young man approached, freezing at the sight of the wolf. Kangin let out a small growl as he noticed just who this young man was, there was no doubt about it, it was Kyuhyun. The only difference was the bright glow that surrounded him had faded, his eyes still reflected the fierce emotions of the sea.

“Don’t worry, Daeho.” Jungsu instructed, using some fake name Kyuhyun had given to him. Jungsu began to take small steps towards Kangin.

“It’s not safe,” Kyuhyun stepped forward grabbing Jungsu’s wrist, “He’s a wild beast.”

“I don’t think so, after all he did save my father. You worry too much.” Jungsu’s face lit up in the positive gleaming smile, that made the roughness in Kyuhyun’s eyes fade temporarily. Kyuhyun didn’t want to remove his hand but he did so, and turned his head to glare at Kangin as Jungsu approached him.

“I never got to thank you the other day,” Jungsu whispered calmly, hesitantly placing his hand on Kangin’s head to scratch behind the wolf’s ears. “I really appreciate you bringing my father home, my family would just fall apart with out him.”

Kangin noticed how Jungsu’s lip quivered ever so slightly as the thought of losing his father danced through his mind. Suddenly, Jungsu threw his arms around the wolf, “Thank you so much, I wish I could repay your kindness.” He rubbed his face against the soft creature’s fur.

Perfect, Kangin thought to himself, he moved his hips, hitting them against the mortal, before knocking him onto his back. Kyuhyun went to run forward to steal Jungsu off the wolf’s back but he wasn’t fast enough because Kangin immediately hopped away.

Jungsu’s fingers weaved through the creature’s fur holding on for his life. He was amazing by how far each leap made them. He felt his begin to race as the ocean grew nearer and nearer, to his knowledge wolves couldn’t swim the best in the sea like most mammals, even himself. He hadn’t even learned how to swim.

Kangin enjoyed how Jungsu’s hold on him grew tighter, as they neared the water. Once in the water the mortal let out a loud scream of fear the cool liquid rushing over Kangin’s back. Kangin made sure they got out of the water soon as possible, the sea was going against them, Kyuhyun did not want Kangin to be able to taste the fair mortal before him.

Jungsu quickly jumped off of Kangin’s back once there were back on land, an uninhabited island to be exact. Luscious fruit trees loomed over them, as the bright sun warmed the sandy beach. “W-Why did you bring me here?” Jungsu’s faith was beginning to wash away as fear set in.

Kangin didn’t reply but simply stood watching the mortals reactions and just as he figured Jungsu began to smile nervous fiddling with his fingers, that brought a small smile to Kangin’s own lips.

Jungsu took a few steps back as a blinding light surrounded the wolf, making sand around him swirl into the air and around him. The blinding light faded but a bright light radiated off of the man that now stood in front of Jungsu, no doubt a god. His sparkling eyes, and perfect complexion helped give him away.

“Oh my lord,” Jungsu dropped to his knees to bow. “I’m so sorry. What service do you ask of me?”

“No need to bow,” Kangin spoke casually, taking a few steps to be in front of the mortal. Jungsu didn’t move from his spot as if afraid of being disrespectful. Kangin knelt down in front of him, gripping his jaw ever so delicately and picking his face up so he could gaze upon it’s beauty. “There is no need for you to be on your knees unless your lips are working hard to please me.” Kangin smirked at the shocked expression that graced Jungsu’s face.

“W-what?” Jungsu stuttered.

“Mm, nothing.” Kangin whispered before pressing their lips firmly together. The taste of Jungsu’s lips was sickeningly sweet, like an addiction that would last years rather than one day. With each taste Kangin needed more, his hands ran down the mortal’s sides making him gasp, giving Kangin’s tongue the perfect way to enter. The taste he found inside was even better it had every flavor that Heechul lacked, and was different from all of the other affairs he had.

“St-Stop!” Jungsu whimpered as Kangin’s hand began to explore lower on his body.

Kangin reluctantly pulled back from his new addiction. “What?”

“I-I don’t want the wrath of Heechul.” Jungsu blurted honestly. Being used by a god didn’t surprise him, that’s how the gods were, using humans as play toys.

“I won’t let him harm a hair on your body,” Kangin whispered pushing Jungsu back on the sand, before crawling over him to steal another kiss.

“But-”

“Shhh, for once don’t worry. Just enjoy.” Kangin’s voice went slightly husky in an attempt to possibly seduce the mortal, he didn’t feel like raping anyone despite his growing lust.

“o-okay.” Jungsu agreed hesitantly. This time he even began to kiss back as the god’s lips washed over his own. Kangin slipped Jungsu’s shirt over his head revealing the purest skin he had ever seen.

“Mmm you’re so pefect.” Kangin whispered, his tongue swirling around the mortal’s belly button. He held onto Jungsu’s hips as he squirmed as an alien feeling of pleasure took over his body.

“Oh,” Jungsu moaned, arching his back as Kangin’s tongue infiltrated his belly button, a boiling in Jungsu’s skin began to take hold. “St-stop!” Jungus breathed pushing Kangin away and sitting up, “I.. It’s too hot.” Jungsu breathed his face a crimson color. Kangin smiled at the mortal’s naivety.

“I bet I can get you even hotter.” Kangin whispered his hand beginning to massage Jungsu’s groin trhough his clothes.

“Nnngh ah st-stOP!” Jungsu moaned again his back dropping back onto the sand, his back arching as if to shove himself further into the god’s hands.

“So you like that huh?” Kangin teased, as Jungsu gripped the sand into his hands.

“No!” Jungsu squeezed his eyes shut and rolled away from the god, away from the pleasing hands. “W-We can’t do this! I… don’t want my first time with someone who I’ll never see again. And I know you can’t give me commitment, I mean no offense but you are kind of a sleaze. And it’s rotten how you treat your marriage partner like this. If I was him I-I’d get a divorce! S-So I suggest you leave me be, because there is no way I am giving up my precious gift to a..a slut like you.”

“H-How did you know which god I am?”

“You are the only god who is a sex fiend.” Jungsu replied honestly, a bolder side of him now showing, possibly the mask he puts on when he is scared and a smile won’t work.

“Are you saying I’m a man whore?” Kangin blinked in shock.

“that would be an understatement.”

“Wh-…I…” Kangin opened his mouth to speak for the last time but was cut off by the appearance of Yesung.

“Okay, listen I know I am interrupting your love fest but I have some serious problems! I kidnapped Ryeowook, now Hankyung is out to get me and Heechul is scouring the earth looking for you so… I say you come with me and ditch this mortal or Heechul will torture you forever!” Yesung rambled as he looked around nervously.

“Um yeah lets go.” Kangin quickly agreed, this way he could go away and think of another game plan to get with Jungsu another day.
